Crabbie’s and Pineapple Marinated Beef

Crabbie's Alcoholic Ginger Beer pineapple marinade steak


  • 2 lb rump steak
  • 5 tbs soy sauce
  • 1.5 fl oz rice wine vinegar
  • 1.5 oz fresh ginger
  • 6.5 fl oz pineapple juice
  • 6.5 fl oz Crabbie’s Original Alcoholic Ginger Beer
  • 1.4 oz fresh coriander


  • In a bowl add the rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, Crabbie’s Alcoholic Ginger Beer and pineapple juice
  • Grate the ginger, add to mix
  • Cut the rump steak into strips, add to mi
  • Place in fridge overnight – the pineapple will break down the beef and make it really tender
  • Place the strips of beef on the BBQ cook for 3 minutes each side, garnish with chopped coriander
